Facilities Technician

Location: Lacey, WA

Facilities Technician

Pay: Hourly, regular full-time $23.00 - $28.00/hr. DOE with full benefits and Harbor perks!

Hours: 7am-5:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to perform preventative maintenance and repair work on all facility and warehouse equipment in order to minimize the effect of down time on production. Must work well independently, understand accountability, and have a desire to take care of internal customers. Safety is the bottom line and the work done by this person helps keep everyone safe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL TASKS

  • Diagnose and maintain electric forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Daily checks of freezer-checking evaporators and removing any ice buildup in travel areas on floor.
  • Diagnose and make repairs to complex conveyor system
  • Check and replace belts
  • Check and replace/correct electrical problems (low voltage)
  • Preventative Maintenance and repair on all warehouse equipment. To include racking, cameras, cigarette stampers, roller conveyors, etc.
  • Perform occasional facilities repairs, such as drywall, office, furniture, and general internal facilities maintenance.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Crown or Raymond certifications/experience repairing will be given priority as main task of this position is forklift and pallet jack repair.

Maintenance experience in Facilities, light or heavy equipment preferred

Maintenance experience with electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma

Licenses: Valid WA Driver’s License

UA/Background and MVR req.
