The Harbor Wholesale Sales Relief (SR)) is designated as the relief salesperson to take orders when a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is unable to perform their route due to absence, like vacation. When covering the TSM the SR is the primary driver for bringing orders into the system and making sure that all customers have been taken care of each day of the week, for the region they will be working in. The territory for this position is the South Sound - South King County, Pierce, and Thurston Counties. This is a field position daily and not managed from afar. Knowledge of Territory. Must live centrally located within territory.
Pay: Harbor provides competitive salary of $60,000 to $70,000 All travel and road expenses are paid by Harbor.

- Being able to write orders for some of the customers.
- Develop strong relationships with customers.
- Exceed monthly objectives.
- Relationship building is a key contributor to the success of the SR. Being able to develop and take relationships to the next level is critical.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vacation/absence sales relief.
- Must be able to take orders in a computer.
- Represent and sell Harbor programs professionally and effectively.
- Must be able to prepare and deliver verbal sales presentations to both current and prospective customers.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
- Maintain an accurate call list of accounts with details for required action, order call day, contact information and opportunities.
- Meet monthly with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to discuss sales performance objectives.
- Work collectively with Regional Sales Manager across the entire region to produce and close profitable business.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Effective and proven negotiation skills are a must.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Ability to persuade and influence others effectively, in a tactful and professional manner.
- TSR must be a team player, with an ability to solve complex problems working with a team of peers at Harbor Wholesale.
- The position requires the ability to conduct business while on the road using mobile technology.
- Experience in Microsoft Office products and the use of mobile technology required.
- Knowledge and sales experience within the convenience store industry a must.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable and presentable transportation and required insurance.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years field sales, sales support in the field, and/or related customer-facing experience with successful references and stability in a role.
